This was the festival responsible for starting the series of annual Convergence Festivals in different cities in the US and Canada The Hail Marys: Synthesizer Originally known as Unkown Pleasures, the most noteworthy show for this local Chicago band was the "July 4th Weekend 19-Band Bash" at Batteries Not Included in Chicago, IL. Line-up included The Leeches, Dark Horse, The Farmers, Precious Wax Drippings, Bobnoxious, Fang Beach, Material Issue, Raving Mad, Fudge Tunnel, Incoming Wounded, Slammin' Watusis, The Apostles, Wait For Light, The Occupants, Fugitive Kind, Friends of Betty, Sponge and Barbie Army.
